Training
The more you know--the better you do. Understanding and experiencing professional accounting is an on-going challenge. We at TBFoster take staff training very seriously. When staff are confident with their training and expanding proficiencies, they are ready to face clients and apply their knowledge.

Our clients deserve and expect the very best. We provide training and experiences that prepare our staff to give you the best services. Other firms spend 40 hours a year on training that covers all aspects of accounting and industries. Most of this training does not address learning not-for-profit accounting items. In fact, most other firm’s staff spend less than 8 hours a year training their staff on not-for-profit. At TBFoster, not-for-profit is all we do and all we train our staff on. You will find our professional team more prepared and ready for your engagements.
Training at TBFoster takes many forms and has many faces. Of course, there is some of the traditional training, but we spice-it-up with interactive activities, visual presentations, group presentations, review parades, and a few snacks and treats.

We send associates out into the world to attend the latest not-for-profit AICPA conferences. They pick-up new information, make connections and friends. We gear all of the training toward improving the staff’s awareness and abilities to positively impact your not-for-profit accounting activities.
Pairing this training philosophy with our innovative staffing model gives our staff the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. The more they know about not-for-profit accounting--the better they do.
When associates work from home, they can sit around in their jammies and sip their coffee--maybe even a second or third cup of java. When they go into the field, they spruce-up their image and enjoy greeting you. Training provides our team the confidence to be their best--and to represent the top not-for-profit accounting firm in Texas.
